We are DVT-IMP; Deep Vein Thrombosis Impedimetric Microanalysis System ("DVT-IMP", contract number 034256) hosted and controlled by The Centre Of Excellence For Nanotechnology, Micro And Photonics Systems Limited a company incorporated under the laws of England (registered number 04938671) whose head office is at The Fabriam Centre, Atmel Way, Middle Engine Lane, Newcastle upon Tyne NE28 9NZ (“Cenamps”) The Following terms and conditions govern how you may use the Website.

  • “Data Protection Act” means the Data Protection Act 1998 as amended from time to time and including any subordinate or subsequent legislation;

  • The expression Cenamps shall be taken to include members of the consortium who are investigating the diagnosis of DVT.

  • You may use the Website solely for the purposes of perusing the Website for information or using the Services or such other use as Cenamps in its sole discretion permits;

  • Use of the Website is subject to the laws of England and Wales and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

  • Cenamps does not represent or warrant that the Website nor any of any Content and/or materials will be free of viruses or similar contamination or destructive features;
  • Cenamps does not warrant that the Website will be free from attack, hacking or other intervention from any third party although it does warrant that it has in place suitable and current defensive mechanisms against such outside influence.
  • Cenamps will not be responsible for any technical problems you may experience with the Website.
  • Cenamps does not take responsibility nor shall Cenamps be liable for any use or reliance upon the Website howsoever and for the avoidance of doubt for any event that is outside our control such as an act of war, terrorism, plague, famine, pestilence, flood or other act of God.

  • Cenamps does not guarantee that you or any third parties will be able to access the Website at any particular time.  You acknowledge that the need for routine maintenance and error correction may result in down time and that Cenamps cannot control the timing or volume of attempts to access the Website.
  • All warranties implied by statute or common law are expressly excluded for as the law permits.   • Cenamps shall not be liable to you in respect of your use or reliance upon the Website, Content and/or materials.  This limitation does not apply to death or personal injury by the negligence of Cenamps or its employees nor the fraudulent misrepresentation by Cenamps.

Severance

  • Each provision of these Terms and Conditions shall be construed separately and independently of each other and the invalidity of any one part shall not affect the validity of any other part.

Interpretation in the Terms & Conditions

  • Reference to any statute or statutory provision includes a reference to that statute or statutory provision as from time to time be amended, extended or re-enacted;
  • Words importing the singular include the plural, words including any gender include every gender and words including persons including bodies corporate and un-incorporate, in each case vice versa;
  • Any reference to a party in this Terms and Conditions includes a reference to his successors in title and permitted assigns;
  • The headings to these clauses are for ease of reference only and shall not be effect the interpretation or construction of this Terms and Conditions;
  • Not withstanding that the whole or any part of any provision of this Terms and Conditions may prove to be illegal or unenforceable, the other provisions of this Terms and Conditions and the remainder of the provisions in question shall remain in full force and effect.

The Law

  • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of England and Wales.

Registration

  • In order to utilise the updates service you must register with Cenamps all details requested by Cenamps. Upon registration of your details, Cenamps will provide you with a secure username and password to enable your secure access to the updates

  • The information you submit and other information about Cenamps visitors or registrants will not be sold, rented, exchanged, transferred or otherwise disclosed to any party outside Cenamps.  However, Cenamps reserves the right to disclose data to a law enforcement officer or in connection with any legal proceedings if it is believed that such disclosure is required by law;
